Be Yourself !!
Hi Friends,
I have seen people adjusting to get love. Everyone tend to change for their loved ones. Changing for loved ones is not wrong. But do these changes last long? Well, if it is a from-heart- change out of realization, perhaps the change will last longer. But when the change is to satisfy others would that last long? When you are forcefully trying to change yourself, will you be happy with that change? Truth is, you pretend to be normal with that change, and when it is boring you go back to yourself.
Many people fail to understand that when you forcefully
change yourself and get love, you are not getting that love for ‘whom you
actually are instead it is for who you act like’. The love you get is true. But
it is not for you. Isn't that better to be hated for what you are than to be
loved for what you are not?
Accept people as they are. Problem with human mind is –We
don’t see things as they are, we see things as we are .Don’t try to change
them. Each individual is unique. There may be similarities but not alike. Don’t
expect people to play someone’s role. They would be best when they play their
own roles.
As we all know, Change is the only thing which cannot be
changed. Each one of us undergoes change. Change in appearance, in behaviour,
in attitude, in character, in level of maturity and everything. The changes
should be a natural one. With each phase of life people change, those changes
are natural. Those changes are to be cherished.
Don’t force yourself to change for someone. Rather be honest
to yourself than to impress someone. People who truly love you will always stay
with you. I am blessed that I have people who truly love me and people who
accept me as I am.
Life is short. Nothing lasts forever
So live it up, drink it down and
laugh it off.
Avoid the bull shit,
Take chances and never have
regrets
Because at one point, everything
you did was
Exactly what you wanted J

life for Happiness.
Yesterday a friend of mine said I have reduced
weight. After a gala dance in heart and hiding that ecstasy I said “No I have
not reduced weight. May be you feel so “. She is a well wisher of mine. So
again she asked me “Do you have anything which worries you much? Is that the
reason you seem to lose weight?” Without even thinking a moment I replied “I am
surrounded only by people who love me. I have nothing to worry about. In fact
they are there to worry for me. I am mess. So sometimes I myself ponder upon a
thing and start worrying about it, which would be petty issues at the end. But
Frankly speaking, I have nothing to worry about “
She was happy with my reply. Ha! After giving
that reply I was also happy. As if she readily understood my mind, she said
“Yeah! You have a loving family with a wonderful bonding and hence they will
take care of you”. Sometimes I won’t let the other person to interpret more. So
interrupting her I said “True. But it is not the family alone. It is my friends
and their relatives. It is also my acquaintances love me and that is the reason
I am not worried at anything. “
I am blessed. I have so many people to love me.
I give and in turn get lots of love from everyone. What you sow, so you reap. I
accept the fact that I am happy. The simple acceptance boosts me so much and
energises me.
This is a reply perhaps she did not
expect. Immediately a poet in Tamil
literature flashed in my mind.
The poet was an aged man but his looks were
young and he did not have even a single grey hair. (Wait! Those days there was
no dye). When a learned man asked the poet reason for his young look, this was
his reply:
It
is because my wife is virtuous, my children have gone far in learning,
my servants do what I wish, my king protects me.
Also, in my town there are many noble men who
are wise and have self-control.
Wow! I appreciate my memory. Now, coming to the
point, the poet has quoted so many reasons for him being happy. He considers
his entire town and men living there, his king for his happiness. But, these
days happiness is much concentrated on self. Even then, people fail to accept
that they are happy.
One day when I was conversing with another
friend of mine, she told me People would feel jealous if we say we are happy.
So she never says that she is so happy to anyone. What I feel is, when you say
you are happy, the word impacts you. It brings joy; it would make you feel
happy.
Feel the love everywhere. World is meant to be
loved and lived. Don’t wait anymore.

Thaayumanavan (Brother who is also a Mother)
Few hours before me he came to the earth
To briefly glance whether it was safe for my birth
From that day he dutifully plays his part
His love has always swept my heart
Though born in different wombs we are twins
Together we have seen many autumns and springs
Having a brother is owning a treasure
When he also happens to be friend
The joy has no measure
He has a stunning style and affable smile
For me his face is truly a lily of the Nile
He awes me with his altruistic nature
Which still I have to nurture
He has made me cry bringing tears like stream
He would beam when I crazily scream
Yet we share our dreams however extreme
If written today they would be in ream
He cares like a mother and wares for me like a father
Even when I trouble much and make him bother J
Now the distance has made him stay farther
Where I wish to be his soul rather
He makes parody which would amaze
For his dance I always go craze
People love his phrasing for its innocent glaze
And also for his smile which always blaze
Without him my childhood memories are nil
I remember the treasure hunt we played with thrill
Even my smallest wish he will fulfil
Much of my strengths are that he instilled
Not only in movies that a brother would cook
When sister is engrossed into her study book
Till date he has never forsook
Though at times I’ve been brook
His sacrifices for me are countless
At my success he would go speechless
His wonderful nature is he never gets jealous
He should reach great heights for the qualities he possess
More than a brother, he is a Friend
I wish to be with him till my end
Yes! We are twins born in different womb
And Together we always bloom
I wished My 50Th post should be about him:-)
Thanks to Preeti Shenoy.. she made me to introduce such a wonderful person to many round the globe :-)

Life is Simple :-)
Yesterday… started as good day.
My sister always complains that I
don’t spend time with her and I don’t take her out when she visits me. I have
tried several times to change her idea towards me but till date it is a
complete fiasco.
This “Operation – CSM” (Change Sindhu’s Mind about me)
will not stop unless I win-over her heart in this matter. As a part of my
action plan for “Operation CSM” I thought of taking her to a movie. She herself
begged to take her is a different note. She asked at Saturday night 8.45 where the movie starts
by 9. I was helpless at that time but promised her to take her on next day. (I.e.
Yesterday – being Sunday) She was upset with me but did not give up her
composure and stayed calm.
Yesterday morning 8.30 we got up
and told my Mamma that we’ll go to movie by 11.30. Most-adorable-mom like she agreed.
4 of us planned to go. My sister, 2 of my brothers and myself. My aunt a lovely
lady on earth took my brother out to market. Have you ever been to market with
your mother? If you had been I needn’t take the trouble of causing you pain by
explaining the purchase process.
If you are not aware or if you
have too lucky that you have not got caught in market with your mother, then
the pleasure is mine to narrate that mind blowing experience for another post :-D
The show timing was 11.30 and it
was 11.10 when my brother came back from market. I dropped the 11.30 plan knowing that he
cannot take bath and have breakfast within that time. My mother started
entrusting household chores to me and my sister knowing that we dropped the
plan. She doesn’t like us sitting idle. My sister who was already upset was so
much irked when my mother started listing the chain of works. She burst out
loud. She poured all her agony and after trying so hard I was able to take her
out. Convincing both my mom and my sister at the same time when both are at their
worst mood is difficult. It is horrifying actually.
We 4 planned to a mall which was
not much happy for my sister because she has already visited it. Then I decided
to take her to the movie she asked for. At that moment I did not tell my mom ,
just we left the home saying we are going to a shopping mall. It was 1.30 when we started.
A point worth noting is, My elder
sister had invited us to her home(inlaws place) for lunch. She was not feeling well yet she took trouble
in preparing our favourite dishes and was eagerly awaiting us. Meanwhile we
were in the movie but called her and soothingly said “we are not going to have
anything out. We’ll starve and would rush to your home by 5.30 just keep the
lunch which you have lovingly prepared “ She was happy in the manner the matter
was put before her. She agreed.
While watching the movie, I
informed my mother too that we’ve come for a movie and immediately said that I
have called up “P” and have told her to keep the lunch till 6. I din’t give my
mom a break to speak and once knowing that I spoke with “P” she was fine.
We happily enjoyed the movie. We
were so dedicated that we watched all the names running after the movie and
till the screen closed. Hey! We’ve given Rs.200 each for a 3 hour movie, what
if we don’t watch it till the end?
In Parking, we started getting
calls from my mother. I din’t pick the call knowing I’ll be scolded for being
late. We reached home by 6.15. The scene running at that moment gave me a
shock. My mother was climbing down the stairs with tears filling her eyes. My
aunty and elder sister was helping her by carrying her travel bags.
Did I miss something?? Yes. I
forgot to tell you people that we had train to trichy at 6.50.
All 4 were blank and maintained a
sorry-figuring face on seeing her coming towards us. Even then she was not
impressed with our sorry-faces.” She was seething at our
irresponsible behaviour. When I opened my mouth to say “Still we have time,
nothing has happened . We’ll reach station in time. Don’t –worry-Ma “thing I
saw my father rushing from an auto. I was struck with words on seeing him.He came from his friend's place (the best side is he came after me:-) ) He too was scared of facing
my mom and went to bring down his baggage. Then I could understand the whole
scene. Felt better to keep mouth shut.
They reached railway station. Got
the train and safely travelled.
After they left, I asked my aunt
who was fuming : what was the reason for tears in my mother’s
eyes for such a simple matter ?
She exclaimed with serious tone: because
you people were late.
Me: Just for being late why should she be so
tensed?
My aunt : Because she cannot
reach railway station early.
Me: Reach railway station early
and do what ?
My aunt :Not to miss the train
Me: Would not miss the train and
do what?
My aunt: To reach trichy early
morning.
Me: Reach early morning and do
what?
My aunt : Your sister and brother
can go to college without missing classes
Me: Without missing going to
college and do what ?
My aunty : ????????????? (Few
questions cannot be answered. Perhaps it is better not to answer :-P)
The worst possibility is loss of
train fare Rs.1000 to Rs.1300 by missing the train. They could have boarded the
bus in night and would have reached trichy. So all the agony, tension, crying
and yelling were just for Rs.1000.
Life is simple. Don’t complicate
it. When you are facing a problem just think the maximum loss which you would
suffer because of it. The end loss in many cases will be very meagre compared to
the trauma we currently undergo to face it.
On the positive note : My “Operation –CSM “ has
achieved 5% success. My sister gave bonus 20% because I faced my mother for her. Totally 25 % :-)
75 % - still to go in few more
action plans :-)
I had already told this to you
and again telling now that “Punctuality has always been alien to me as Humans are to Martians “

What Do I Write ?
When I tell people that I write blogs the first question I receive is “About what?”
In the beginning I used to pause for few seconds to answer
this question. But now, I know what I write. I write about many things.
Intentionally I avoid few topics like studies ,
negative topics & God.
First thing I avoid
is studies/profession . The reason for me starting this blog is to be out of
Profession and I don’t want to bore people with such topic as they would be
speaking about that throughout their life.
Second thing I avoid is Negative Topics. I want to be
Optimist. Even if I fail to bring a smile in the reader’s face, I make it a
point not to bring tears or to feel disconcerting. So almost all my posts have
a positive note and few will be pointless (i.e. just for timepass).
The third is God. Well, you know the reason.
What Am I writing after eliminating all these?
I write about nature, society, people, relationships,
friends, trust, cheer, fun, teasing, laughter and mainly Life.
I write, if people are not letting an ambulance its way
I write, if a
stranger treats me well.
I write how to make
people love you.
I write, if I am happy throughout the day.
I write, if friends
want me to post something on a day.
I write thanking everyone.
I write about every tiny gift of life.
I write about my childhood.
I write humour & harmony.
Friends! If I have left out something about which I write,
please mention it in comment.
So hereafter if people ask me What do I write about. I’ll
direct them to this post J
Have a Great Day Ahead J

Compliment
Hi Friends,
“I will be generous with my love today. I will sprinkle
compliments and uplifting words everywhere I go. I will do this knowing that my
words are like seeds and when they fall on fertile soil, a reflection of those
seeds will grow into something greater.”- Steve Maroboli
Not just girls but everyone likes compliments when they are
true. There are people who do not know
to accept a compliment given to them. Compliments can even be false praises. We
should be able to differentiate between a false praise and a sincere one.
Sincere Compliments costs nothing but can accomplish many
things. It is indeed true that compliments are like seeds . Without compliments
I would not have continued this blog. When my friends find no time to read my
blog, I insist them to read it. (I am that sort of girl! And they do obligeJ).
When I stop hearing comments from friends, I don’t feel like
writing in this space. So Friends, Please do comment on the post. No matter how
long your comments are. I’ll even accept crisp comments. But find time to
comment. Otherwise I don’t feel like writing.
Yesterday had a chat with a friend of mine. Months together
I was not in touch with her. In chat I just told her the blog name and asked
her to read when she finds time. The chat was in noon and I became busy with my
work after that.
She called me up in the evening. She was so excited while
speaking to me. Her voice said that. She was so touched to read my blog and felt a positivity while reading it. She
said that while reading the posts , It was like I’m personally speaking with
her. She was happy in her present life , but still something was missing in her
life. On reading the blog she felt as if it was fulfilled and she was not left
alone. She was able to connect with me.
For a moment I did not know how to bring her back to
normalcy. She was in such a excited state. I heartily accepted her compliment
and thanked her for expressing her feelings in such a excited manner. Then I
made her feel comfortable and brought her to normalcy.
She poured all her stresses to me. She shared all her fears
and relaxed herself after pouring all her tears to me. I consoled her. She said
that from months together she had not shared these with anyone and kept
everything to herself. She added that, she felt like sharing with me alone
after reading the blog. I knew she was true. I knew her compliment was sincere.
I was touched with it.
Today I am really glad that I started writing blogs. I am
happy that I can touch people’s life with my words. I am persuaded to writemore
more when I hear a sincere compliment.
Practice complimenting. Do it sincerely. Your Compliments
truly matters.
Accept compliments gladly when they are genuine. Thank
people who compliment you.
I thank everyone who have complimented me till date for this
blog! Thank You all!

Travel Loving
Earth has so much beauty in it. A lifetime would never suffice even to learn
its beauty.
Nature is one of the best things everyone could cherish.
Nature was at its best, when we visited Coorg. Such a good place it is but hardly maintained.
It needs much maintenance.
Yes. Coming to the Tour – We visited Raja’s seat , Fort , Abbi
falls and Omkareshwar temple on the first day. It was 2 days trip, which is
less to cover places in and around Madikeri. Though nature was fully at its best, I could
not enjoy much because the maintenance was not up to mark. Recently Madikeri
has faced heavy rainfall and that can also be the reason for lack in
maintenance. We were even dismayed when we heard that there was no entry for bathing
in Abbi falls. But however the places may be and wherever you are... being with
friends compensates everything. We were too excited at our get together. We
played cards and happily ended that day.
Next Day we went to Dubare forest . It has boating , river
rafting and elephant camp in it. We went through boat to visit the elephant
camp. Saw many elephants of various sizes.
We came to know the names of 2 little elephants. We ourselves named
many. Elephant bathing was allowed on payment of Rs.100. Few families were
bathing the elephant. We loved the way the elephants playing with kids there.
Then we got ready for rafting. We were given Life vests and
helmets which made us feel like soldiers ready to fly. In the beginning many
were scared. But the Experts who joined us Mr. Anu & Manish ensured us that
the experience would be safe filled with fun and adventure. We divided
into group of 5 & 6 and started with
Rafting. In the beginning the water was stand still where we had to row.
Instruction was given by the experts “ Forward” , “ Backward” “fast” & “stop”
which still i am hearing as I type this
post.
The expert were conversing well and as they ensured , the experience was adventurous.
People who had feared earlier became wild with water and played well with its
flow. We enjoyed a lot. We worked as a team and enjoyed the team work. We spent
almost 2.5 hrs to cover 7 kilometers which was very much time than the average.
We paid Rs.600 each and definitely felt worth after the experience.Rafting was the momentous experience. Had I gone alone or
even with family, I do not know whether I would have opted for rafting. But
being with like minded people (i.e. Friends) made me to do it. I thoroughly
enjoyed the experience.
Later that afternoon we went to Tibetan Monastery which is
must visit place. We could not visit
Thalakaveri and bhagmandala. But our river rafting experiences with such
amazing Experts never made us regret for it.
I have always thought that,
Adventures have to be a part of life.
Life is to be cherished.
Routines needs some break.
Nature strengthens your mind.
Finally, World is all yours. You deserve to taste the beauty
of each part of it.
So, Create a chance and explore places. Stay Green!!
